Over one million hectares of vineyards, a production of about 70 million hectolitres of wine, over 2 million vineyards, every type and style of wine imaginable;

That's Italy!

Wine is an absolutely superflous and unnecessary thing.

Just as a painting,
a piece of music, a work of art,
all thing that we don't "need",
are unnecessary.

Today, wine has a place only
if it gives pleasure, if it arouses emotions,
if it brings joy, like a fine painting,
a piece of music, a work of art.

Otherwise, seeing that,
we don't need it,
why should we drink it?

CasamiaWines is the Asian Branch Office of two major Italian vineyards, Sensi Vigne & Vini from Tuscany and Toser Vini from Veneto. The company, established in Hong Kong in 1997, with direct investment from the vineyards aims to expand operation and better serve new and existing clients in the Asia Pacific Area. We have a bonded warehouse for re-exporting wine in the Region, as well as a local one especially tailored for the needs of the local market. In our portfolio of wines we now feature over 600 different Italian labels from 93 different producers and 17 different regions, the largest Italian selection in Hong Kong and Asia Pacific. We are expanding around the region with offices branches in Manila, Macao and Shanghai.

CasamiaWines is the fastest growing importer of Italy’s finest estates. The wines, grappas and liquors represented come from eighteen of Italy’s twenty regions. Individually, they are the most highly regarded producers of their DOCs. Collectively they are known as John Pesci Selections and represent the most prestigious portfolio in Hong Kong today.

[...] MANTELLO 2000: An unusual bland of Sangiovese e Syrah, with the latter grape variety adding some of its own spice, power and "wildness" to the more reserved Sangiovese component. The resoult is a savoury, concentrated drop that has attractive smoothness and dept mid-palate leading to a firm, grippy finish.

[...] 92/100 MANTELLO 2000: Glorious aromas of crushed berries and toasted oak, with hints of dark chocolate. Full-bodied, with sweet, silky tannins and a long, fruity finish. A beauty. Blend of Sangiovese and Syrah. First time I have tasted this. Serious stuff!
