Very dark color. Start slightly almond and reductive, opening up quickly with notes of juicy cherry, roasted herbs and elegant oak (this is aged 12 months in a mixture of botti and barriques). Quite chewy in mouth, very elegant, well structured with a nice muscular mouth feel and impressively concentrated, an absolutely outstanding wine from the Bolghieri area, possibly the new Sassicaia!
