BRUNELLI
For three generations now the Brunelli's have tended to their grapes and production of wine with a love and a passion which has culminated in the production of the finest quality wines. These wines have been produced in the area of San Pietro in Cariano. Since the 1970's the company has been enriched, and extended to twelve hectares of vineyards, by the addition of new fields in the regions of Pedemonte and Custoza. The family tradition, handed down from Angelo to Giuseppeup to the present day in the expert hands of Luigi, ably assisted by son Alberto and wife Luciana, taking Brunelli wines to new, prestigious heights. "Today the firm is conducted with passion and professionalism by the oenologist Luigi Brunelli, researching a level of quality which satisfies the expectations of the most qualified consumer. The Brunellis, as real vine-dressers loving their work, are witnesses of the continuous growth of quality and prestige of the wines that they produce, and are aware of Cariano as an viticultural area at last projected in the future: a new reality of very old roots.
To the north-west of Verona, in the classic and renowned area of Valpolicella we discover the locality of Cariano, one of the most famous for prestigious oenological products. This place took its name from the Roman family Cariae. Today it is a splendid horseshoe shaped rural court, which encircles one of the largest and most antique threshing floors of the village, situated at the hill's feet. In the small and beautiful valley the vineyards extend, like an immense garden, on a calcareous, stony ground, rich of clay, mainly exposed to south-west, caressed by the wind in the summer-twilight. A viticultural area so highly vocated brings out the precious production of the Brunellis.
