Cantina Majolini represents the history of a family that took up wine-making for the love of it, then turned it into a business. With the different qualities of wines that it offers, Cantina Majolini has full right to be included among the list of top wineries, not only in Franciacorta, but throughout Italy. Over the last few years, the winery has drawn attention to itself in the wine business through the passion, skills and hard work of the Maiolini brothers, and it has now reached the highest levels in the industry.

The winery is made up of buildings that cover four thousand square metres of surface area and overlooks a lovely valley. Enhancing the winery is the magnificent sculpture made by Aligi Sassu, a Sardinian sculptor who is a friend of the family and a fervent enthusiast of Franciacorta. His two bronze horses stand above the entire zone, ennobling the land and sanctioning Sassu’s desire to open a museum that merges art and nature in perfect harmony. The Maiolini family’s greatest ambition is to return the vineyards of Ome to life on the lines of local tradition and culture.
