CEUSO

Its between the family fibres that the Melia brothers develop the idea of producing red wines in an area of old vineyard culture: Alcamo. The Ceuso project was born in 1990 when a variety of black berries were introduced, pointing to the grapes quality. The firms land extends itself for 40 hectors, 25.5 of which cultivate vines.

Only a few hectors get selected for producing the superlative Ceuso, annually producing 35.000 bottles and the winning Fastaia, producing 29.000. Much attention is reserved for the low returns and in the high density of stalks, to the choice of the system of growing, to the exposure of the vineyard.
